Come joing the Anthropology & Sociology department for a talk by Miranda Karban, Assistant Professor of Biology at Illinois College. Dr. Karban will be talking about her work with Operation Identification, a humanitarian NGO dedicated to identifying the bodies of those who perish trying to cross the U.S.-Mexican border.
This talk will be especially of interest to anyone interested in pursuing a career in forensic science, U.S.-Mexican migration, and the anthropology of the body.
