Gaia and Genji: Gender and Sexuality in the East and West is a cross-disciplinary colloquium organized by Hilary Lehmann, classics, and Otilia Milutin, Asian Studies. There will be three panels covering the topics of gender and cosmology, masculine homosexual pedagogy, and female spaces.
Presenters include Knox and Monmouth faculty and Knox students from a variety of departments. The panels will be followed by a keynote address by Paola Zamperini, associate professor of Chinese Literature from Northwestern University.
