Applications to health professions programs require you to write a personal statement so that you can answer the why and what questions: why medicine/nursing/etc? These personal statements can be challenging to write--they're creative, analytical, argumentative, and reflective all at once. This seminar will help you identify key events in your life and education, teach you how to reflect on them, and how to tell your unique story to allow your authentic voice to come through your personal statement.
