In celebration and honor of Latine Heritage Month, Knox College and Monmouth College are collaborating to bring local Mexican history to the forefront with a documentary viewing and panel discussion of Boxcar People, the story and testimony of Mexican workers and their families recruited in the early 1900s to work the railroads in Galesburg, Illinois.

On Tuesday, September 26th at 6:30 pm, Intercultural Life at Knox will host a panel discussion with former residents and descendants of residents who lived in the railroad camps to share their experiences and stories. Please join us at the HOPE Center! Snacks will be provided.
