Max has direct experience with three ballot initiatives involving psychedelic and/or cannabis legislation. Oregon’s measure 110 decriminalized personal use quantities of all drugs while leveraging cannabis taxes to massively increase funding for addiction treatment. Measure 109 established a first-in-the-nation psilocybin therapy program accessible to all Oregon residents. Washington DC’s Initiative 81 directed police and prosecutors in the District to stop arresting people for possession or use of four psychedelics.
