The first 3 weeks of school have events that are in a series of each other. The focus is on artistry, in particular what art means to you in different aspects of life. The last week consisted of painting and dialogue about the history of art in marginalized communities. This week shall be about presenting the art work people have made in last week. As well as the aspect of how we remember people in marginalized groups. People can bring in objects or reference things that they use to pay respects to their ancestors etc. Next week we shall pay respects to those people and wrap up everything we have learned.
