Interested in pursuing a career within the financial services industry? Join Director of Education, Emily Holthaus, for a quick chat about how you can intern with The Greenwood Project. ***You do not need to be a business/finance major. The Greenwood Project is looking for students who have varied majors and do not require coursework in finance/business , in order to apply.*** RSVP is required ************************** The Greenwood Project is a Chicago-based organization that connects Black, Latinx, and underrepresented students to careers in the financial services industry. With the mission of eliminating barriers to entry and advancement in the financial services industry, the Greenwood Project is relentless in supporting students to have the qualifications, access, support, and social capital necessary to pursue careers of interest. Through our programs, College scholars receive: - Up to 4 internship placements during the summers (currently placing nationally, with international placements potentially coming soon) - Potential additional career experience during the winter - Mentors throughout the industry - Training and education on hard and soft skills for success in the financial services industry - Ongoing professional development - Hourly living wage for work during the summer - Funded brokerage accounts to begin or expand one’s investing journey - Support with technology or other needs vital to successful internship participation - Access to our Career Services department in alumni hood that will support one’s career advancement Applications for the 2022 program open on October 1, 2021 and can be accessed at www.GreenwoodProject.org.
