You are invited to join us for the Knox College Theatre production of The How and the Why, by Sarah Treem, directed by Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Deana Nichols. We are thrilled to be producing live, in-person, indoor (albeit masked and socially distanced) theatre again, and we hope you'll join us!
Evolution and emotion collide in Sarah Treem's thought-provoking and sharp play about science, family, and survival of the fittest. On the eve of a prestigious conference, an up-and-coming evolutionary biologist wrestles with the truth with an established leader in the field. This intimate and keenly perceptive play explores the difficult choices faced by women of every generation.
The production features, in alternating casts, Emma Bohman ('21), Lindsay Drozdik ('23), Jo Hill ('21), and Ro Ivaniszek ('23).
Performances will be in Harbach Theatre, on May 5-8 (7:30 p.m.) and May 8-9 (2:00 p.m.). Please note: Due to COVID precautions, this production is open to the campus community only. Seating capacity is limited, and reservations and campus ID are required. Secure your reservation today!
