Do you like helping others? Did you have trouble figuring out how to pay for college? Join the Renee Martinez, the Statewide Outreach Coordinator with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, for a casual chat about how they help students find funding for college and what current employment opportunities they have. Renee Martinez is the Statewide Outreach Coordinator with Illinois Student Assistance Commission, also known as ISAC. ISAC mission is to help make education beyond high school more accessible and affordable for the residents of Illinois. Supports and services through ISAC include financial aid, such as the MAP grant, training for guidance counselors and others working with students, and the ISACorps, which employs more than 100 new college graduates to coach and mentor the next generation of teens toward their post-secondary goals. Renee will share the details of this full-time job opportunity in this information session.
