Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications offers two full-time graduate programs (a Master of Science in Journalism offered in downtown Chicago and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications offered in Evanston). Each emphasizes practical, hands-on training and projects with industry professionals, with opportunities to travel domestically and internationally during the program.

Message from Melissa Ann Sersland: As the associate director of graduate admissions and financial aid, I recruit top talent to our graduate programs as well as review applications, conduct admissions interviews and counsel students through the application process. I also manage all of our institutional scholarships and grants and process federal financial aid and private student loans for our graduate students.
