With the success of last year's Handshake Chair Visual Arts Competition, we've decided to make this a fun annual event! You don't have to be an art major to enter the contest, all you need to do is come up with a great idea on how to redecorate the Handshake Chair that sits in our office (Alumni Hall 222). Come by and see what we're talking about if you don't know! Rules: 1. Complete your Handshake profile (profile must be at least 85% complete in order to win) 2. Create an award winning design that incorporates what Knox means to you and choose a medium (paint, stickers, tape, etc) that will adhere to a plastic chair. (can be a solo design or in groups of 2-4 ppl) *the design must not permanently alter the chair (i.e. no cutting, burning, etc) *no derogatory or offensive designs allowed; will be an immediate disqualification 3. Submit your design (picture of your design or graphic) to khein@knox.edu (Kendra Hein) by Friday, October 2, no later than 11:55 pm. 4. Winner(s) will be announced on Monday, October 5 5. Winner(s) will be required to complete the chair decoration by October 20 in order to receive gift card prize and the chair will be showcased during Homecoming week.
