A panel of Knox students will reflect on their time serving as translators and interpreters for asylum seekers. Join us to learn more about efforts at the border to bring social and legal justice to those who hope to find asylum in the United States.

Panelists and Topics Include:

Natalie Juarez: The Stories in the Documents. Translating the Evidence.

Montse Cancino: Getting (stuck) in Line. Legal Services in Detention Centers.

Stephanie Martinez-Calderon: The Gift of Listening: Stories that Impacted Us.

Alexis Ramirez: Emotional and Physical Toll to Interpreter and Asylum Seeker
