If you are stumped about what you are going to do with your liberal arts degree, make plans to attend this Life After Knox Talk by John Straus '73, chair of the Knox College Alumni Council.

John will highlight how to market your degree to employers and discuss how his American Studies degree and the Knox network helped shape his career. This informal discussion will also be a great opportunity for you to find out why it's okay to question your post-college plans and how to find the career path that you love.

John is currently the manager of client services for Exponent. His specialties include new venture startups, public affairs, government relations, business development and marketing, media relations, and project management.

At Knox, John was an active member of student senate, choir, and Phi Delta Theta. He went on to earn a master of arts degree in American history from Smith College.

This event is free and open to all students, but space is limited. Please register online by Thursday, February 16 at www.knoxalumni.org/LifeAfterKnox.

This Life After Knox Talk is brought to you by the Office of Alumni Relations and the Bastian Family Career Center in conjunction with the Knox Alumni Networking Program. If you have suggestions for future guests or questions about the program, please contact Eric Johnson, associate director of alumni engagement, at 309-341-7648 or ebjohnson@knox.edu.
