Thank you for being part of Homecoming 2026! Seeing the campus full of familiar faces, new faces, and plenty of Prairie Fire pride reminded us all why this place matters so much.

Whether you traveled across the country or just across town, you made the weekend what it was. From selfies and lawn games in the Homecoming Hub, to the art exhibits, lectures and panels, here are a few moments we’re still smiling about:

Congratulations to our award winners:  Michael Tweedle ’73, Alumni Achievement Award; Joseph Puntoriero ’13, Young Alumni Achievement Award; Elizabeth Cernota Clark ’73, Fifty Year Club Scroll of Honor; Casey Gatz ’05, Knox Service Award; and Chris Bejbl ’86, Sonia Hibberd Kesselring ’00, Jon Ripperger ’86, and the 1970 Football Team, who were all inducted into the Knox-Lombard Athletic Hall of Fame. Your achievements and your commitment to Knox inspire the students and alumni who follow in your footsteps.

Knox Today and Your Next Knox Chapter. Thank you to everyone who joined us to see where the College is now and to think about how you want to stay connected. 

Venture Boldly: Leadership through the Liberal Arts. Thank you to our alumni panelists, Devin Hogan ‘06, Ashley Antenore ‘11, Anushree Kedia ‘15, Casey Gatz ‘05, and everyone who joined the conversation. It was a great look at how a Knox education shapes leaders in every field.

Painting your Prairie Fire Fox. We loved seeing everyone’s creations, and the creativity on display was top notch. If you painted your very own Blaze, we’d love to see it! Email your pics to engage@knox.edu or share online and tag Knox College!

S’more Sendoff. It was a sweet (and slightly sticky) way to close out the weekend with good company and good conversation.

Knox is stronger because of this community, and your presence, your memories, and your loyalty show up in everything we do. We’re grateful for you.

Preparation is key to a successful Homecoming Weekend. And don't forget to pack plenty of purple and gold!

Have a question about Homecoming Weekend? We have answers.

New this year! Reunion Photos will be taken Friday night during Celebrate Knox. Find your class’s scheduled  photo shoot in the Homecoming schedule. 

Returning this year are Portrait Photos. From 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. under the ginkgo tree in front of Seymour Library, have a photo taken to capture the memories of the weekend. Our photographer will be located near Seymour Library to snap photos of alumni, families, and students. (Rain location: third floor of Alumni Hall)

Reunion and Portrait Photos will be available for free download from the Knox College Flickr album.

Make your room reservations now at a local hotel or airbnb.

It could be a couple things. Do we have your current email address? Or have you unsubscribed from Knox emails? You can update your information online, or reach out to engage@knox.edu. We’ll be happy to make sure we have your correct email address and check your subscription status.

Shop ahead from a wide variety of items in the online Knox Shop and wear your new Knox gear to campus! Plus, check out our special Prairie Fire gear and our limited edition Homecoming pop-up shop.

Visit the Knox Shop in the lower level of Seymour Union (elevator access on the first floor of the Union across from the Lincoln Room):

Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will also be a pop-up shop at Knosher Bowl during the football game on Saturday, open from noon to halfway through third quarter. Happy shopping!

You can connect to the “Knox-Guest” network, no password needed.
