My favorite spot on campus: Definitely the library. The first floor is a perfect place to do group work or study with friends and the second floor has many comfortable places to sit and read or quietly do some homework.

Professor a new student should absolutely take a class with: Diana Cermak, she is an amazing professor that finds a way to make whatever she is teaching interesting.

How I chose my major: I came into Knox wanting to be a biology major. After taking an introduction to environmental studies class I realized how passionate I was about it and decided to declare a minor in environmental studies. Similarly, after taking several chemistry classes I became very interested in what I was learning and added a second minor in chemistry.

The Knox class I never expected to love: Sculpture. I am not a very artistic person but I ended up learning a lot about different mediums and how to use them. I enjoyed working on my projects and was very proud of everything I accomplished in that class.

Best thing I've done since coming to Knox:  Getting involved in different ways in the Galesburg community and in the Knox Community which has introduced me to so many new people.

My most challenging class so far: Organic chemistry. It challenged me to find new and more helpful ways to study and remember important material.

What are some surprisingly cool things about Galesburg? Galesburg has some cool ice cream shops around. Lim's ice cream has so many fun flavours, Sprinkle and Spoon has really good soft serve and Kastle Kreme has so much variation!
