Colorado Alumni Scholarship

To be considered, simply complete your application for admission by January 15. Selected applicants will be invited to interview with alumni in Denver in early March. Scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of March.
John Huston Finley Scholarship (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut)
First-year students from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are eligible for John Huston Finley Scholarships of up to $3,000 per year ($12,000 over four years). Candidates for these scholarships have taken challenging classes, performed well, and contributed to their schools and communities. Several Finley Scholars are selected each year on the basis of the application for admission.
Alumni of the New York Knox Club created the scholarships in honor of John Huston Finley, an 1887 graduate of Knox and president of the College from 1892 to 1899. Finley was a distinguished educator, humanitarian, and journalist who became editor-in-chief of The New York Times in the 1920s and 1930s.
Colorado Alumni Scholarship recipients are notified in late March. Candidates for all other regional scholarships are notified of their scholarship awards at the time of admission.
General Scholarship Guidelines
Regional scholarships are renewable annually as long as recipients remain in good academic standing. Scholarships must be applied toward the cost of tuition and the combination of Knox scholarships and grants and federal and state grants cannot exceed the cost of tuition. Scholarship recipients often qualify for additional need-based financial assistance, including grants, work-study programs, and loans.
