Blossoming trees around campus.

Bright. Motivated. Intellectually curious. Creative. Active participants and leaders in their schools and communities. Committed to making a difference in the world around them. These are the qualities of Knox students—and these are the qualities we recognize with merit-based scholarships.

We look closely at your academic achievements—the challenging courses you’re taking, the good grades you’re earning, and all the qualities that demonstrate that you’re learning to love to learn.

How Much Scholarship Will I Receive?

You’ll be considered for scholarships based on the information you provide in your application for admission. If you’re an artist, you can also provide portfolio submissions or complete auditions that will be evaluated by Knox faculty (see below).

Your scholarship will be based on your academic achievements.  Scholarships range from $35,000 to $45,000 a year.

Note: Knox is a member of the NCAA - Division III, which precludes us from recognizing athletic talents and achievements with scholarships.

Auditions or Portfolios in the Arts
Knox scholarships are designed to recognize your achievements, including special talents in the writing, music, theatre, dance, and visual art. You can provide examples of your talents by submitting a portfolio and/or completing an audition either on campus or electronically through your portal.

Scholarship Guidelines
Scholarships are renewable annually as long as you remain in good academic standing. Your scholarships must be applied toward the cost of tuition, and the combination of Knox scholarships and grants and federal and state grants cannot exceed the cost of tuition. You may also qualify for additional need-based financial assistance, including grants, work-study, and loans.
