Making College Affordable
A nationally recognized financial aid program funded by incredibly generous alumni and friends makes it possible for students from all backgrounds to attend and afford Knox.
We offer a wide variety of need-based financial aid to help you cover your college tuition and expenses, and we're here to guide you through the financial aid process.
Your financial aid award is based on your financial need, which is determined by your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the Knox Financial Aid Application. More than 80 percent of new (U.S. first-year) students entering in fall 2018 qualified for financial aid based on need. Here's what those students received:
|Total Family Income||Average Award*||Award Range*|
|$0 - $35,999||$52,925||$45,863 - $56,424|
|$36,000 - $71,999||$49,370||$33,500 - $56,424|
|$72,000 - $107,999||$43,215||$28,500 - $56,097|
|$108,000 - $125,000||$36,503||$31,500 - $41,521|
|Over $125,000||$32,164||$18,000 - $51,283|
