Statistics Requirements

Requirements for the minor

5.5 credits as follows:

  • Introductory Statistics: STAT 200 or PSYC 281
  • Calculus I: MATH 145
  • Linear Algebra: MATH 185
  • Linear Models: MATH 225
  • Research Methods- BIOL 210, ECON 303, MATH 322, PHYS 241, PS 230A and PS 230B or PS 230C, or PSYC 282
  • Research Project:
    • A data analysis or theoretical project under the supervision of program faculty resulting in a paper and presentation. The project may be done as part of an internship or other off-campus experience, but must be approved by campus program faculty.
