Eligibility

Students from any college or university may apply. Our courses and calendar are easily adapted for students coming from semester schools. To participate in the program, a student must have completed a full year of intermediate coursework in Spanish. Knox students should complete three 200-level courses before participation. We recommend Spanish 201, 230 D, and 235.

Costs

The cost is based on Knox tuition, room and board per trimester. Included:

  • Tuition and university fees
  • Room and board with host family
  • One transcript sent to the home university
  • Educational trips
  • Travel stipend for end of the term
  • Health insurance
  • Local cell phone

Credits

Each course taken equals one Knox College credit, which in turn translates into 3.3 semester hours. A full-time load is 3 courses, although students are able to take one additional course for no extra fee.

Application

To apply, complete the application to study abroad.
