We encourage students to pursue their film interests in this academic community as independent studies or capstone projects. Our students have presented their work at undergraduate conferences and sent them to graduate programs with much success. Our emphasis on meaningful self-designed work has produced many fruitful projects. Here are a few that resulted from hard work between students that worked one-on-one with a film studies professor to produce meaningful realizations in film.

Explore Film in the World
Students participating in the Knox-partnered Barcelona or Buenos Aires study abroad programs can combine their interests in film and off-campus study by taking Spanish Cinema I and II or Social Cinema of Argentina and Popular Culture in Latin America. With the Power of Experience Grant, students have the opportunity to seek out other film programs around the world.
