Meet the Bastian Family Center for Career Success Staff
The Bastian Family Center for Career Success is located at Alumni Hall 222. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tiffany Springer
Associate Director of Career Exploration and External Relations
Tiffany grew up in Rockton, Illinois and attended Illinois State University, graduating with a BA in English Studies. She spent fifteen years working in the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois community and has resided in Galesburg, Illinois the past ten years. Prior to coming to Knox College, she focused her career path across education, philanthropy and program management.
Tiffany has served on a variety of state and local boards and enjoys sharing her talents to support missions she cares about. She has a passion for supporting students in their career and life ambitions as well as connecting them with their communities. When she is not on campus, you can find Tiffany sharing yoga practice, volunteering, cooking/eating, reading and spending time with her husband, Ken, and their dog, Franklyn.
Lexi Hunter
Assistant Director of Programming and Partnerships
Lexi is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with her bachelor of arts degree. While studying at WKU, she worked in student positions within Housing and Residence Life as well as the Advising and Career Development Center. Through her experiences, she has found a passion for helping others find confidence in their career goals. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family and dog.
Jiyou Galloway
Career Success Advisor
Jiyou is originally from Seoul, South Korea. Jiyou relocated to the U.S. five years ago. With three years of experience at Carl Sandburg College, she has enjoyed working with students, and decided to dedicate herself to offering career guidance. Through her own significant life changes, involving immigration and career transitions, Jiyou brings a unique and valuable perspective to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, singing and spending time with her family and two cherished cats.
