Meet Professor Huguet

My courses treat music theory as a language to be learned, a puzzle to be solved, and an art form in and of itself. While my research primarily focuses on form and harmony in nineteenth-century music, I enjoy teaching students about the extraordinary variety of human musical expression across time periods and genres.
