Jones-Haug holds a B.Sc. in sociology and cognitive neuroscience from Yale University and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has done research on Supreme Court decisions and how they impact day-to-day life, as well as diversity issues in higher education.
