The Mark & Jeannette Kleine Center for Community Service provides an array of engagement opportunities for students.

Meaningful work beyond campus.

The Mark & Jeannette Kleine Center for Community Service manages a wide range of engagement opportunities, including volunteer service, charitable activities, and community-based learning designed for the students, faculty, and staff of Knox College.

Volunteer projects coordinated with the Kleine Center fall unto two categories—short-term, which includes working with a community organization such as the Galesburg Public Library, the Galesburg Historical Society, the United Way of Knox County, and the Galesburg Community Arts Center; and long-term, which includes working with local organizations including the YMCA and Beacon of Hope Hospice.
