Knox Website Receives CASE Award

National award to Knox College website.

The Knox College website, www.knox.edu, recently received a bronze award in the international 2015 Circle of Excellence awards program from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

The website was one of 88 entries in the Institutional Website category and one of eight to win a bronze, silver, or gold award from a panel of experts. More than 720 higher education institutions, independent schools, and nonprofits from around the world submitted 3,200 entries in 100 categories, spanning a wide range of print and electronic communications. Across all categories, the judges gave 93 bronze, 106 silver, 91 gold, and 17 grand gold awards.

The CASE judges noted the Knox site's state-of-the-art design and technology, outstanding content, real-time updates, and user-friendly navigation. Compared to earlier versions of the site, visitors are spending more time and exploring more pages on the site.

Knox's website was extensively revised during 2014 and formally launched last September. The award-winning website was a collaboration of the College's Offices of Communications, Admission, Advancement, and Academic Affairs, and the New York-based digital design firm, Brooklyn United. (Read Brooklyn United's Blog for their take on the award.)

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is one of the largest international associations of education institutions, serving more than 3,600 universities, colleges, schools and related organizations in more than 80 countries. CASE is the leading resource for professional development, information, and standards in the fields of alumni relations, communications, educational fundraising, and marketing.
