Revolutionary Research Questions and Preview of Exhibit Series
Seymour Library
Our latest exhibit walks through the process of developing a research question using library tools and information and documents the process of refining a research question.
This year's exhibit series is all about revolutions. Each exhibit will explore how change took place, created new ideas, or fundamentally altered the way we view society. The small exhibit area in the Alumni Reading Room looks at Revolutions in Storytelling, exploring how oral history and recording technology have changed the stories we have access to in the archives. Other scheduled pop up exhibits include Revolutions in Science (October 27th & 28th), Revolutions in Writing and Printmaking (Friday, January 5th), and Revolutions in Education (Friday, March 29th).

Delta House of Pancakes is one of Tri Delta's annual fundraising events for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It is a late-night pancake bar where members of Tri Delta will make and serve pancakes to guests, with 100% of the proceeds going back to St. Jude. Guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume or favorite Halloween-themed attire. At the door, a single order of pancakes (2 pancakes) will be $4 and unlimited pancakes will be $6. Bishop Hill was the site of a utopian religious community founded in 1846 by Swedish pietist Eric Janson (1808-1850) and his followers. The Bishop Hill Heritage Association was organized in 1962 with the original goal of saving Colony era buildings in disrepair and restoring them to functional use. Questions?
