Lab Facilities

Caterpillar Classroom

The Caterpillar Lab contains twenty Intel Pentium Dual CPUs, 2.40 GHZ PCs running Windows XP Professional. Each machine has a 17-inch flat screen monitor. The instructor station is also a dual processor also. The layout and sheer power of the machines makes this classroom ideal for the integration of high end applications and/or programming into instruction. This electronic teaching classroom is equipped with projection and is located in the lowest level of SMAC's E-wing.

Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-Midnight
Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday Noon-6 p.m.
Sunday Noon-Midnight


Centel Data Analysis Lab

The Centel Data Analysis Lab is located on the first floor of George Davis Hall (GDH), adjacent to the Language Lab. This lab contains 1 instructor station and 20 iMac workstations with Mac OS Leopard running Dual Core at 2.53 GHz. This electronic teaching classroom is equipped with projection. The additional power and standardization make this teaching space much more viable for a variety of instructional purposes.

Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 9:15 a.m.-10 p.m.
Friday: 9:15 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday CLOSED
Sunday Noon-10 p.m.


Founders

Located in Seymour Union across from the Student Life office, Founders computer lab is open 24 hours and 7 days a week. Founders Lab contains: Eight 2.4 GHZ iMacs with 1 GB RAM running OS 10.5; 39 Pentium Dual CPU, 2.40 GHZ PCs running Windows XP Professional; a PC scanning station equipped with a multi-sheet flatbed scanner is available.

Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.


Stellyes Classroom

Stellyes is one of our adjoining computer labs in the basement of the E Wing in SMAC. It contains twenty-four 3.00 GHZ PCs running Windows XP Professional. A Windows XP instructor station is available for data projection. A multi-sheet scanning station is available equipped with a flatbed scanner. This classroom is located in the lowest level of SMAC's E-wing.
