As school districts changed their plans to educate students during a pandemic, Knox student-teachers were prepared to meet the needs of their students, whether in person, online, or both.

Melati Nungsari '10, assistant professor of economics at the Asia School of Business and research affiliate at MIT's Sloan School of Management, is working with refugee communities to document the problems they face and test potential solutions. Her advice to incoming students: "You don't know what your life is going to look like, so while you have the time, take everything you can at Knox. If you're on the fence between taking a 'weird class' and a major requirement, take the weird class. I think you'll be surprised."
