50 years of creative writing.

Creative writing is one of Knox College's most highly regarded majors—students and faculty consistently win major awards and our alumni have been awarded American Book Awards, Emmys, and the Pulitzer Prize. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of our creative writing program, authors Rita Dove (former U.S. Poet Laureate), Aleksandar Hemon (MacArthur "genius grant" recipient and author of The Lazarus Project), and Marilynne Robinson (Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Gilead) will speak at Knox.
