One of the primary goals of counseling is to help students address problem areas and to make effective changes.
Who is eligible for counseling?
All enrolled students at Knox are eligible.
What happens in counseling?
Your counselor will work with you to help identify different options available to bring about changes to resolve the presenting problem. The role of the counselor is to help clarify the issues, not to give advice.
Is counseling confidential?
All counseling is held in the strictest confidence as permitted by law. The counseling record is separate from the academic record.
How much does counseling cost?
Counseling to Knox students is free.
How do I make an appointment?
Call 341-7492 and request to see a counselor or if you prefer, you can stop by the Counseling Center to schedule an appointment.
Where is the Counseling Center located?
The Counseling Center is located in Furrow Hall, 175 W. Knox Street. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
