The Knox College outdoor track and field team will have to wait a little longer to start the 2008 season. The Illinois College Invitational, the Prairie Fire's season-opening meet scheduled for Saturday, April 12, has been canceled due to the inclement weather.

The Prairie Fire will now start the campaign on Saturday, April 19, at the Dick Young Classic hosted by Grinnell College. The meet gets underway at 10 a.m.
