Madi Hanna, a freshman from Van Meter, Iowa (Van Meter High School), was named to the all-tournament team at the Marketing Depot USA Classic in West Palm Beach, Florida, December 18-19. The 6-3 forward/center averaged 12.0 points on 61 percent shooting from the floor, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots over two games. The Prairie Fire dropped both contests in the tournament.

Hanna started with an eight-point, seven-rebound performance against host school Northwood University. She made 4-of-7 shots from the field and added three assists, three blocked shots and one steal in 27 minutes. Knox lost 87-52.

The next night, Hanna finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in 19 minutes in the Prairie Fire's 91-62 loss to Notre Dame College. She hit 7-of-9 from the floor.

Through nine games this season, Hanna leads Knox in scoring at 12.3 points per contest. She is averaging 6.3 boards per game and has blocked 30 total shots.
