Knox College provides an innovative health care program for all students, regardless of whether they purchase supplemental health insurance through the College. Students receive basic care from the on-campus Student Health Center. This Center ensures that all students have access to a medical practitioner for basic health care needs. (This program does not cover chronic or extended medical conditions.) Students are not required to use the Student Health Center and may arrange for health care services from other providers at their own expense. Health Service Guidelines (PDF)
Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan This supplemental insurance plan offered by the College is optional. However, every student must be covered by a personal health insurance plan, either a private plan or the supplemental student insurance plans offered by Knox. There are two plans to choose from—Plan A or Plan B. Supplemental Insurance Plan Description (PDF) Supplemental Insurance Waiver Card (PDF)
Intercollegiate Athlete Insurance Student-athletes are required to participate in a group accident insurance policy that covers Knox student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics (club/intramural sports and off-season injuries are not included under this policy).
