Women's basketball at Knox is full of energy and high-paced action. An aggressive defense combined with a quick transition offense gives Prairie Fire fans an exciting team to cheer for.

In recent years, the Prairie Fire women's basketball team has enjoyed its share of both team and individual success. Since the 2000 season, Knox players have earned ten all-conference selections.

Players are able to enjoy top-notch facilities while playing. Prairie Fire home basketball games are played in Memorial Gym, which boasts the largest seating capacity in the Midwest Conference and a newly resurfaced hardwood floor, the Tim Heimann Court. The E. & L. Andrew Fitness Center has state-of-the-art training equipment that rivals any college in the Midwest.

Competing in the Midwest Conference allows Knox to compete against some of the best Division III competition in the Midwest. The conference offers a playoff system that also gives the team a chance to advance to national competition.
