Knox is known for its professional-level jazz bands and choirs, experimental and classic theatrical performances, and frequent visits by distinguished novelists and poets. Student painters, poets, playwrights, dancers, and other artists have daily opportunities to read, act, perform, or display their work for other artists and the campus community.
Knox has one of the most respected undergraduate creative writing programs in the country. Law & Order star Amy Carlson is just one of the many professional actors who got her inspiration from our "Rep Term," a full-immersion theatre experience. Open Studio Term allows advanced art students to devote an entire term working as full-time artists building a body of work for a gallery exhibit. |
