Sustainability Task Force

Knox addresses campus sustainability on a larger scale by reviewing, recommending, and promoting sustainable initiatives. The Sustainability Task Force encourages the Knox community to understand how their individual and collective actions impact people and the planet.

Created in 2008, the Sustainability Task Force facilitates the strategic plan for Knox College in matters relating to sustainability. It consists of the president and vice president of finance and administrative services, as well as key campus representatives including the sustainability director, director of facilities services, the chair of the Environmental Studies Department, staff members, students from various academic disciplines, the chair of the Student Senate Sustainability Committee, and occasional alumni and community members.
