Ranked #6 in the nation's college radio stations by The Princeton Review's annual college guide, " "The Best 376 Colleges: The 2012 Edition," WVKC, Knox College's own station, allows students to learn the basics of being on the air.
About WVKC, The Voice of Knox College
The college radio station is student-run, with student directors of punk, folk, hip-hop, world, techno, and pop music to ensure WVKC runs smoothly.
At Knox, you can host your own radio show each term, either solo or with friends. In a station with comfortable chairs, a lounge, and a set-up for at least two hosts at a time, the WVKC station can be a great place to relax and listen to music with friends after a long day of class, all while broadcasting to Galesburg and beyond.
