Women of Influence

Women of InfluenceWomen of Influence (WOI) was founded in April of 2007. The club's top priority is to promote and develop multicultural awareness through:

  • Creating a legacy through service, leadership, and active outreach
  • Enrichment and education of women
  • Creating and enhancing a philanthropic community at Knox College
  • Growth and development of student involvement on campus

Some of their past events consist of:

  • Kids Carnival
  • Viewing and Discussion on Miss Representation
  • 90's Party
  • Viewing and discussion on Good Hair
  • Discovery Depot Clean-Up
  • Initiative for Girls
  • Tutoring
  • Influential women in history posters

WOI meetings are held on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in Ferris Lounge, of Seymour Union. The club loves to see new faces and receive new ideas and perspectives.
