Poetry Club

Poetry ClubThe purpose of the Poetry Club is to foster an inclusive community of writers and readers of poetry. The club is open to any and all students from all majors and fields of study. Its aim is to organize a weekly discussion of selected texts, and its function is to create a place and time for anyone who enjoys poetry to gather to share questions and ideas through the lens of specific poems.

There are a number of clubs and organizations on campus dedicated to publication and public reading events-such as Catch, Cellar Door, Quiver, Caxton Club, Writers' Forum, etc. These clubs celebrate the formal presentation of student work and professional readings. We aim to celebrate the collective reading and discussion of poetry.
