Auditions for the Knox College Choir 2010

Audition Times & Locations

• Sunday, September 5 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon and 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. New Student Auditions
• Monday, September 6 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. New Student Auditions
• Tuesday, September 7 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. New Student Auditions and
  3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Convocation Choir Rehearsal, Jay Rehearsal Hall

For the Audition
A prepared piece is not required, although you are welcome to bring one if you like. When you arrive on campus, sign up for an audition time on the door of CFA 150 (Ford Center for Fine Arts).

During the audition, you'll be asked to do the following:
1. exercises throughout the range
2. crescendo-decrescendo exercises in different parts of the voice
3. ear training
4. sight-reading
5. sometimes another short exercise or two, depending on the voice
