Gaming Information Network

Gamers of Knox College are determined to create a resource for constant gaming activity on campus. With the Gaming Information Network (GiN), the promotion and community of gaming has increased greatly in the Knox community. GIN accomplishes this through:

Gaming Information Network
  • Free sharing of game-related information between members
  • Awareness-raising activities targeted to non-members
  • The planning and execution of game events open to the entire campus

While many might think the group is solely focused on video games, that is not the case. By joining GiN you can gain an exposure to:

  • Computer and video games
  • Tabletop role-playing games (RPGs)
  • Board and card games
  • Rhythm games
  • War games

GIN holds one large event per term: one for charity, one promoting gaming culture, and one gaming convention. All events strive to bring gamers on campus together, whether members of the club or not, in order to meet other people with similar interests, share games, and have a good time.

In addition to events each term, GiN holds weekly events for console gaming and card and board gaming to give students a break from their studies. Everyone is welcome.
