Located on the second floor of the Umbeck Science-Mathematics Center, the Kresge Science-Mathematics Library houses scientific and technical books and periodicals.
Technical support includes three public access computers, two dedicated-Mathematica computers, and Internet access in study carrels for users with notebook computers. A conference room with AV equipment is available for classes, clubs and informal study groups. Collections include reference books and journals covering the natural sciences, mathematics and psychology. The science library also houses two specialized collections: the Environmental Studies Collection and the Green Oaks Collection, containing works related to the environment and ecology in general, and Midwestern prairie ecology in particular. Science Library Hours Academic Year: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Vacation Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Extended hours immediately before and during examination periods.
