"I maintain a high interest in the politics of the Middle East, and continue to revise the textbook Politics and Change in the Middle East for its eighth edition. I recently traveled to Denmark, Latvia and Estonia, continuing a project on international nongovernmental organizations. I have also designed and taught two new courses-one on international non-governmental organizations, the other on the transnational politics of Western Europe."
