Add to that the hands-on experience you'll have conducting sophisticated research investigations or creating original work, and it's no wonder our alumni meet with such success when they decide to continue their studies at the graduate level.

In fact, Knox ranks in the top 3% of all institutions in the nation when it comes to the proportion of our graduates who go on to earn Ph.D.s., ranking 11th in the nation for Ph.D. holders in math and the sciences.

65% of our alumni go on to graduate school within 5 years. They earn advanced degrees at such prestigious institutions as Yale, Vanderbilt, University of Chicago, London School of Economics, Northwestern, and New York University, often after winning National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships, Fulbright awards, and fellowships and assistantships offered by their graduate programs.
