Cooperative Program

If your goal is a career in optometry, Knox offers an opportunity to begin working toward a Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry after three years at Knox.

To be eligible for this combined degree program, you must complete an academic major and fulfill all of the general education requirements for the Knox B.A. in your three years at the College. Your first year in the Optometry program will count as your final year at Knox, and you will receive your bachelor's degree with your graduating class.
