Internships Take Students Around the World
While you’re making preparations to head to Knox next month, many current students are also getting ready to come back to campus after spending the summer at locations around the world, where they have been applying what they’ve learned in the classroom through real-world experiences. Just think, in a year or two, you may be joining them.
Here are a few examples of what current students have been doing this summer:
- Prajwal Man Tuladhar '14, economics major and business and management minor, is an intern at the United Nations Development Programme in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- Jessica Robinson '16, biology and environmental studies double major, is interning with the Research Experience for Undergraduates at Yosemite National Park in Yosemite Village, California.
- Dylan Gibson '15, political science major, is a production intern at a nationally syndicated progressive talk radio station in Washington D.C.
- Esther Farler-Westphal '14, psychology major with minors in German and Business and Management, is interning at an online referral marketing start-up in Naperville, Illinois.

You can see the work that’s being done on the blog KnoxWorks. Check back regularly to track the progress of projects.
