Knox College

Welcome to Knox!

Students greet their professor at PumphandleWe can't wait to welcome you to the Knox community this September! The next four years will have a profound impact on your future, and we are sure that you're excited to begin this new stage in your life.

This e-mail, and the ones you will receive weekly throughout the summer, will make your journey from home to campus life a smooth one. They will be filled with helpful information, like what to bring to campus, how to choose your classes, and important dates to remember as fall approaches. They will also include links to important forms that you will need to fill out and return before you arrive on campus for new student orientation, One Community.

One Community will both welcome you to campus and introduce you to the larger Knox community as a whole. Not only will you get to know your classmates, you'll meet faculty and staff, learn about how to navigate the campus, understand how learning happens at Knox, and explore your new home of Galesburg, Illinois. Throughout this five-day orientation, students from around the nation and the world -- students from varying cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds, students from rural communities and bustling cities -- will unite as one community living and learning here in the heart of the Illinois prairie.

Payment Options Make Managing Tuition Easier

A Knox education is an investment in your future, and our goal is to help you feel confident that you can afford that investment. The first step in this process is deciding what tuition payment option is best for you and your family.

A student works on the Gizmo patio. The Knox Business Office offers families convenient payment arrangements to manage college costs. Knox will send your first billing statement for fall term in mid-July, which is due on August 12. Families have the option to pay the bill in full each term or enroll in a Monthly Payment Plan through Tuition Management Systems (TMS) that allows you to spread your education expenses over 3 or 4 monthly payments per term. Your only cost is a term enrollment fee of $35. These payment plans are not loans, and there are no interest charges. Life insurance is provided at no extra cost. Learn more or enroll today by calling a TMS Education Payment Advisor at 800-722-4867 or enroll on-line at knox.afford.com. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Penny Young of the Knox Business Office at 309-341-7313.
