Painting the Town Purple
Kick off Homecoming Week in style by painting your windows! Sign-up or speak with your RA about joining in!

Location: Designated windows around campus

Documentary: A Lot Like You
A Lot Like You is an award-winning documentary that explores gender violence and cultural identity, including multiculturalism. Eliaichi "Ellie" Kimaro, Seattle based filmmaker, travels to Tanzania to learn more about her father, his family, and home. There she discovers that she must reconcile this culture she's inherited and how she defines herself today -- as a woman, an activist, and perhaps, most of all, a mother.

Join the Center for Intercultural Life in viewing this documentary in preparation for a presentation by the filmmaker, Ellie Kimaro, on Thursday, October 17.

Cheer on the Prairie Fire women's volleyball team as they take on Cornell College. Free assorted spirit apparel for the first fans that arrive!

Photo Booth

Breast Cancer Awareness Event: Tie-Dying Event
Women of Influence and Homecoming Committee team up for this fundraising event.

Eliaichi Kimaro: A Lot Like You: The Culture We Inherit and the Legacies We Choose
Join the Center for Intercultural Life in welcoming filmmaker Seattle-based filmmaker, Eliaichi "Ellie" Kimaro as she discusses her documentary A Lot Like You. Kimaro is a mixed-race, first-generation American with a Tanzanian father and Korean mother. 

Please join us as Kimaro discusses her experience and conducts a brief Q&A.
