The Application Process 1-2-3

  1. Submit the online application, which will be available here by January 8th! As a part of the application you will be asked to provide two references; one from your current RA* and one from a Knox Faculty or Staff member. Your references will receive the forms via email after your application is submitted.

  2. You are required to participate in two separate interview situations (group and individual). During both interviews you will meet the Campus Life Staff and some current RAs. In the group interview, you will be placed in a group of five or six other candidates and asked to problem solve as a group in a "team" setting. The group interview will last around 2.5 hours. You will attend only one of the two offered nights. In the individual interview, you will have a sit-down, 30-minute discussion with a member of the Campus Life staff and a returning RA.

  3. You will receive an offer, if applicable, on February 26th. You must accept or decline the offer by March 4th.

* If you wish to use an RA other than your own or do not have a current RA (i.e. live in an area without an RA), you may use another, current RA at Knox. To seek permission to have a non-RA fill this reference out, contact the Campus Life Office prior to the deadline.
